Your Legacy ERP is a repository for collecting product information for stock items and a small percentage of your non-stock items. Item descriptions, costs and price rules are maintained within the back office system. More and more companies are actually selling many more products on their website today than is setup within the back office system. A full supplier catalog of 30,000 products cannot be realistically setup within the Legacy ERP file maintenance utilities without automation.
The item repository (Item master) within the Legacy ERP is therefore, not all inclusive. The back office (ERP) only contains a sub-set of items you sell.
